Are the protectors heat-resistant?
Our mats can withstand temperatures up to 280 degrees Celsius. This is due to the use of a special, durable silicone rubber in their manufacture. Thanks to this heat resistance, you can safely use them while cooking without worrying that they will warp or be damaged by the heat.
Isn't there any heat loss?
That's right! An induction cooktop uses magnetism: a magnetic field generates an electric current in the pan. This current heats the pan directly, without using heat to warm the pan itself. Can I use a mat that's bigger than the pan?
Are your mats just a little bigger than the bottom of your pan? That doesn't matter, because it doesn't affect how your pan heats up. The induction cooktop will recognize the pan, and the magnetic field will pass right through the mat.
